The 3.3m Island Inflatables boat comes with a stylish wood floor which makes it a great candidate for a touring boat. If you’re going away on a boat trip, this lightweight and compact inflatable boat is a great choice that you can easily store in the back of your car or caravan.
We are the #1 privately owned boat brand in Australia for a reason. At Island Inflatables, you won’t find anything that isn’t manufactured with the highest quality material. We also use a “High Frequency Thermo Welding” (HFTW) technique on our seams which offers protection against Australia’s harsh climate and conditions. This holds your boat together and prevents it from ripping apart under extreme heat.
Additionally, the boat has increased durability due to our PVC material which is D-teck denier with 0.9mm thickness. This is the heaviest grade of PVC material you can find, which proves that we spare no expense when it comes to delivering quality products to our customers.
We want you to have a comfortable boating experience, which is why we have put a lot of thought into modifying our boats to maximise your experience and offer ease of use. For starters, all our tubes are oversized, allowing more room to sit and reduced chances for being in the splash zone while cruising over the waves. This is also why we have repositioned the grab or safety rope and attached it to the side of the tube rather than the top. As this new position moves the rope out of your way, you will be able to sit more comfortably without any hindrance. We have also placed our internal rear carry handles on the inside of the rear tubes rather than the outside. This makes it a lot easier to carry the boat.
For improved resistance and functionality, all the transoms on our boats are manufactured with marine ply, epoxy coating and rubber sealing on top, along with internal and external outboard mounting plates. Our boats also come with a one-way bung that makes it easier to drain excess water from the boat floor while the boat is in motion. In addition to this, our boats have an over-inflation valve which helps with hotter days and increased air pressure.
Since the best way to judge the quality of a boat is to take a look at the tow rings at the front and our boats use large heavy-duty stainless-steel tow rings, you know that we mean business. Our tow rings are also mounted on a large, strong mounting patch which prevents it from getting detached even under rough weather conditions.
Finally, we always keep wear and tear in mind while manufacturing our boats. To help protect your boat from rub marks and scratches, we only use non-marking rubbing and wear strips around the side and under the keel. Further, since inflatable boats are more susceptible to damage, we apply a second layer of PVC material on the underside of each oversized tube. This makes it easier when dragging or launching your boat off a beach and adds an extra layer of protection against rocks and shells.
Your boat should reflect their high quality, which is why we don’t go for loud and brash colours. You’ll see that most of our 3.3m–4.3m models come in a light grey colour. This is because these boats are often used as tenders during the day, so this light grey colour is a smart choice that perfectly complements your cruiser or yacht and helps hide dirty marks. The colour doesn’t absorb heat as much either, so you need not fret about taking your boat out for a spin during hotter days.
